Pat Dunwoody is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Strategicly Minded Inc. Pat has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry with the last 25 in executive positions. The majority of her career was spent at mutual fund management companies, including AGF, Fidelity and Trimark. Throughout the years, she has been an active member of key industry committees at IFIC, FundSERV, and the CCMA. Pat is also on the Boards of two other organizations: Applaud and Elder Abuse Prevention of Ontario.
Allyn is a proud Cree woman from Treaty 6 territory. She has spent the last 5 years of her young career focusing on tackling the financial management challenges facing many Indigenous groups and working alongside various communities to provide support with financial management, governance and strategy.
As a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, she holds both a Master’s of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Saskatchewan, having practised in both public firms and a variety of industries. She has also completed the requirements for the Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager designation through AFOA Canada.
In her current role as SVP, Everyday Savings and Investing at TD, Janice is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of TD’s Personal Deposits and Retail Investing businesses, with a clear focus on delivering exceptional experiences and deepening relationships with customers across every stage of their financial journey. Janice also champions the Bank’s strategy for key customer segments and takes particular pride in TD’s leadership in supporting New to Canada communities.
She has held senior leadership roles across Wealth Management, Canadian Personal Banking, Branch Banking, and TD Insurance. She most recently served as TD’s Global Head of Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship where she helped define TD’s Social Framework and Climate Action Plan, shaping the bank’s role in both environmental and social progress.
Janice holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University. She is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). For her work in inclusive leadership and equitable business practices, she was recently recognized as a 2025 Catalyst Honours Champion.
